Dog Days are Over
As the summer winds down as with any summer I’m reminiscing about all the swimming and hanging with dogs I got to do this summer. Also how doing a whole lot of nothing can also somehow be fulfilling. I only left NYC for 24 hours in a month and a half, quite a rarity for me to stay so stagnant. It’s nice to find the pleasures and terrors of your immediate surroundings, embracing the monotony of routine, scheduling social regularity, things that I’ve always found difficult. This time also makes me think about what these pictures I make are, just a record of my time on this earth? What to do with them? Do I even care? I guess this is why I’m using this format - some kind of outlet that adds meaning via coalescence. Ya’ll be the judge, jury, and executioner.
Enjoy : )
